Visit Jawa Timur II in Batu, Malang, East Java, Indonesia......
Here, you can find the international standard Museum Satwa which I think is the best museum I have ever visited in Indonesia.
You can also find Batu Secret Zoo here which gives awesome entertainment for us who like animals and also for children who seek entertainment at a theme park.
If you need an accommodation close to the theme park, you can also stay at the Pohon Inn which has a unique exterior that assembles a big giant tree.
Directed by: David O. Russell
Written by: Eric Singer, David O. Russel
Casts: Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner
I feel like this movie should have been the best movie of the year 2013. It should have won Oscars for every acting awards given in Oscars 2014. The casts might
The screenplay is awesome and flows so well throughout the movie. The movie is also very entertaining and can appeal to mainstream movie-goers who want both high quality movie and entertaining movie that can make them say "wow, I enjoyed the movie.". It has some humors, great drama, and great acting skills.
This is one of my most favorite steamed chicken that I have ever tasted. The tenderness and and sweetness of the chicken is the main strong point.
It may not appeal to the liking of those who like some Indonesian spicy chicken. However, Me myself who like and adore spicy foods still love this chicken.
Casts: George Clooney, Sandra Bullock
Director: Alfonso Cuaron
Amazing visual effects combined with outstanding acting performances by the two main actors. The chemistry of the two actors deserves two thumbs up. The screenplay is also awesome and it feels like your are also in space. It is also very very well directed and the director deserves all the accolades that he has received for this movie.
However it could be a boring movie to some people because there is not much action and you can only focus on the acting of the actors.
For me personally, it is one of those movies that I would wanna rewatch again in the future.
Batu Secret Zoo from 6th Floor of Pohon Inn, Batu, Malang, East Java, Indonesia
Taken by: Ferry Wijaya
Camera Used: Olympus TG-2
Date Taken: March 25, 2014
Location Taken: 6th Floor of Pohon Inn, Batu, Malang, East Java, Indonesia
Batu Secret Zoo might be the best and cleanest zoo I have ever been in Indonesia. It has the best quality in cleanliness, variety of animals, park layout designs, and anything you could ask for in a zoo.
It is also completed with an amusement parks at the back of the theme park with some great and amazing rollercoaster.
Pohon Inn is the hotel of the theme park that consists of seven floor of accommodation. The exterior is also unique and the design is made as if the hotel is inside a giant tree (thus the name Pohon Inn).
Directed by: Stephen Frears
Produced by: Steve Coogan, Tracey Seaward, Gabrielle Tana
Casts: Judi Dench, Steve Coogan
Genre: Drama
Philomena is another drama with extreme sadness behind the story. The story is quite deep and explores the emotional depth of Philomena's character.
This film is led by two extremely great veteran actors, Judy Dench and Steve Coogan. Withour their great acting skills, this film might have lost a lot of rating points for me since their acting skills might be the main strongest point of the film.
It is very recommended for those who want and like sad and slow drama with great storyline and immense drama. It is a quite interesting film and surprisingly it is not too draggy since the screenplay should also be given a top notch.
What used to be a disaster now has been one of tourist attractions for mostly locals....
I don't know whether I got ripped off but I paid IDR 30.000 for parking and IDR 30.000 per person to go up on the retaining wall to see what is in the picture above...... Some "tour guide" also offered to drive us by motorcycle if we want to get close to the mud flow source seen afar in the picture above, but we decided not to.....
This movie could have been the only one movie so far that I have longed for it to come out since I watched the first installment of the movie. Being Indonesian movie, acted, directed, and produced here in Indonesia, it could be the most successful Indonesian movie that successfully represents Indonesia in the world movie scenes.
After garnering such positive reviews and financial successes from the first movie, the second one is produced in a much better quality, much more budget, many more great actors, much more visual effects, and much better fighting choreography. In other words, The Raid 2 is simply much better than The Raid 1.
On Storyline (75/100): Not like the first one, The Raid 2 has enough storyline to say that it's a great fighting movie that has content, not just an action movie that solely rely its strength on the fighting scenes. The storyline is actually quiet great and has twists.
On Casts (85/100): This movie is very well acted by the main actors. Yes, there are some parts that could have been better. But, I think this movie already provides me with all I can ask for on the quality of the casts
On Visual Effects (95/100): Do you know some movies that you couldn't even know how the directors make it? Have you ever gone like "How the heck do they make it look like that?"...... Yes, this is one of those movies. All the ruthless fighting and killing scenes are really awesome.
On Fighting Scenes (95/100): Anybody who like movies with gory stuffs, ruthless killing, and great martial art fighting NEED TO, HAVE TO, WILL WANT TO see this movie. Period.
Honestly, this is one of the best Indonesian movies I have ever seen. Plus, it sells and gains such positive reviews all over the world. It's a very recommended movie to watch, you wouldn't waste on a buck.
