My Comments:
- The most joyful time during the entire movie is watching the incredible acting performance by Anna Hathaway as Fantine. I think she deserves to win all the accolades/nominations she got.
- Les Miserables is a great musical, but when it's turned into a movie, it becomes too much. Some parts of the conversation had better been a regular conversation, NOT singing. When they sing it, it becomes very cheesy.
- Samantha Barks is very talented, I think we will be seeing more of her in near future.
- For me, Russell Crowe's singing is too flat and there's not enough emotional connection between the facial expression and his singing voice.
